HOW DID WE GET OUR NAME?

Goodwood was the name of the propertyopposite the school back in 1902. The name originated from a clump ofKahikatea bush growing on this property. The Kahikatea tree, a nativeof New Zealand possessed many fine qualities and soon earned thereputation of a "good wood" hence our school name "GOODWOOD".
