Environmental Education for Sustainability

Goodwood School became an Enviro School in 2006 and is committed to providing ongoing opportunities for our whole learning community.

Environmental education is a positive response to the challenge of living sustainably in a rapidly changing world. The programme aims to equip young people with the competencies they need to be leaders in sustainability. Goodwood School takes a whole school approach to environmental education. Students develop skills, understanding, knowledge and confidence through planning, designing and creating a sustainable school by making decisions and taking action.

Enviro Schools
Goodwood School has been registered as an Enviro School with Environment Waikato since 2005. Each year we have a group with representatives from children, staff and the community.
